Thanksgiving will be different

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! How the Country Celebrates the Holiday Differently From the U.S.

Thanksgiving plans will be a lot different this year for my family because of the COVID-19 going around. For the first time ever, my family is not going to meet up for the Thanksgiving holiday.

It sure is going to be different not seeing any of my family over the thanksgiving holiday due to the virus going around. I am still thankful that I still get to spend the holiday with just my family.

The reason we are not meeting this year is nobody wants to get sick and nobody wants to wear a mask all the time while we meet so we decided this year that it’s not going to take place. It makes sense nobody wants to give it to their grandpa or grandma or even worse pass it along to anyone else in the family.

My grandma said “ Things sure will be different this year not going to Morris Church for the first time ever on thanksgiving but we have decided after everyone is done eating to do a Zoom call from are own homes and try to still get to see everyone.’

I think it’s a great idea to do a zoom call we will still get to see everyone on thanksgiving, and nobody will take a chance to get sick.

It’s been such a crazy time this year with the COVID-19 going around but when this thing will pass and we are going to look back on this thanksgiving and I hope we will still remember some of the memories we will still get to have on this zoom call.

In my opinion I think more families should do a zoom call rather than meet because it is just to risky. In the end nobody wants to get sick but everyone will still want to see each other and a zoom call is a perfect chance for everyone to do that.
