Lakerlife effected by Covid

Laker life looks a lot different this year. What makes the church group from Iowa Lakes Community College different from a year ago Brett Fuelberth the Church group ministry directory spoke. “We are required to wear masks now at grand view church where Laker life is at. “Social Distancing orders are also in effect another rule we have added is we have to be in groups of ten or less people when we meet Fuelberth added”.

The things that are the same from last year are the relationships with everyone working to grow in are faith and also singing and worshiping are still the  same. We want to be as positive as possible Fuelberth added I am glad everyone still gets to come to grandview church and that we don’t have to go on zoom like when we did in March.

Some things we want to look forward to is the Chicago mission trip is still on and the fall retreat is still planning to happen. One thing that will be different is the women will be in one camp this year and the guys will be in another camp this year because of the covid guidelines.

We want to keep this as face to face as possible so lakerlife can still go on so we are going to continue to worship in masks and going to continue to stay six feet apart with the social distance guidelines and we are going to continue to grow in are faith together and sing with are masks on.

We have less kids on campus this year now so making it in ten or less groups won’t be as hard at  least this year. We are trying everything we can this year to still make laker life as fun and still as safe as possible because we still want everyone to come and not have a reason to  because of covid.
