Technology Club or “Tech Club” started as a combination of multiple clubs like radio and computer programming. Under new management, it has become a safe haven for any student that loves gaming be that video, board, or table top. All are welcome in Tech Club.
“The club used to do programming competitions and it helped with a Ted Talk last semester,” said Taylor Harrington the current club president, “I help the club run by trying to get ideas and making events happen, but I am new to being president so I am trying to make some kind of tournament every other week in the future.”
When asked about the tournaments Harrington explained that they would be various gaming tournaments. Game nights are currently every Monday night at 5pm. This last week the group played Cards Against Humanity, a popular adult card game designed to see who can get the biggest laugh by being the worst human possible.

“The club was looking to buy consoles and games so we can play new and other fun things,” said Harrington when asked about the possible fundraiser coming soon.
The club meets in room 48 at the Estherville campus every Monday at 5pm and Friday at 11am. All are welcome to join in the fun at Technology Club and make new friends there.
There will be no meeting this Friday, Feb 14 due to Valentines Day.
